OMG I thought I was the only Newsie lover out there. I heard some people talking about the movie when a kid used Sante Fe at an audition. I of course went straight out and bought it, and it is now a tiny obsession. I've probably watched every special feature 10 times and I regularly sit down and watch a random musical number or two. I absolutley love this movie. And I'd have to say it's a tie between Jack and Mush (Aaron Lohr) for favorite Newsie.

Oh my gosh, I'm assistant directing this show right now. We're in performances. As sick of it as I am, it really is a great movie. I adore "King of New York." As for favorite characters...hmmm...I'll say Racetrack and Crutchy.

I love Kid Blink!!!

He and Mush were my favorites. I used to watch for all of their 'moments' together (example: watch when the Newsies are handing around drinks after "King of NY")

And Aaron Lohr (Mush) was also in Bare and can be heard on the sampler CD. And last I heard he was dating Eden Espinosa.

This is the best thread ever!

Even though the Newsies were all adorable, I LOVED Bill Pullman in this movie...especially when he sings that one line in "King of New York"!

Yeah and Aaron is in the RENT movie of course! I hadn't seen Newsies when I first saw RENT and then I went back and watched and he was so cute!

Nothatsmrt- Haha that's hilarious that you brought that up because I LOVE that line Pullman sings.
