My area is odd. Some schools are closed, while others had delays this morning. I'm already dreading digging out my car later. I'll probably post a couple of more photos.
And I totally forgot that some of you already had a foot or two of snow, on top of what happened yesterday.

Good luck with that move, dan.......LOL!
A few years ago we got about 2 feet of snow in the beginning of October and there were still leaves on the trees. Talk about a mess of tree branches EVERYWHERE. Cleanup took 2 years on that one. We were out of power for about 5 days.

My township has this little thing called "snow plow sal" which is supposed to tell you when your street is getting plowed. Trouble is it's not working and the office is closed so I can't find out when I'm getting plowed. I can't miss another day of work.
ETA: Got the site to work but they didn't have my street listed so I had to pick an adjacent street. When I clicked I got a run time error. There has to be a better way to do this
ETA: Got it to work. My street is expected to be plowed at 11pm Friday night. Another missed day of work for me. Every day I miss I lose a vacation day.

Posted: 2/15/10 at 11:18amSo, who else is supposed to be getting more snow tonight? 4-7 inches for my area. I know, that doesn't seem like much, but people still panic if it's 1-3 inches expected. I'm already wishing that I had a laser gun for all the panic shoppers at the supermarket that I'm going to encounter today. If I didn't have to do everyday shopping, I don't think I would go.

Posted: 2/15/10 at 9:48pmI teach and I've been off since February 5th! We got 30.2 inches from the first storm, then the blizzard came, and now it's snowing another 5-8 inches tonight! I live about 2 1/2 hours east of D.C., and I'm about stir crazy! I can't say how the new Malibus run in the snow because I cant keep the driveway clear to get it out! At least I'm saving gas! Thank God for Martinis! And just now it's official, we're canceled tomorrow!

Snow is in the forecast for this week and next. Enough already!
I have a flight to LA next week and I'll be so depressed if it is delayed or canceled.
