Oh, I loved that shot of Leisha's hands asking, "Where's Papi?" Mainly b/c it made me laugh and this show doesn't do that much anymore.

Marina was back last night.

I want to know where that anti-semitic remark was last night. What a weird line.

I just find I really don't care anymore, outside of Alice. But of course I'll still watch.

I hate Jenny's weird French girlfriend even more than I hate Jenny. Tina is being crazy trying to deny Bette any custody of the baby. The scene-long commercial for OurChart.com was totally unnecessary, but of course I've logged on to the website anyway.
I love Helena for some strange reason and I really hope she moves in with Alice because I think the 2 of them will be funny.
The show kind of sucks, but of course I'm still watching it.

they should NOT have killed off DANA!!!! They should have gotten rid of disturbing and disgusting Max or Tina through child birth. Alice and Dana were the show.. shane is just turning into a druggie slut.

I couldn't find the original thread. They shouldn't have shown the preview of next week's episode with Shane looking straight and laughing. I guess the crisis has passed. My favorite character is the lawyer played by Jane Lynch. She is the best thing about the show.

I will second your two words, shameless. I'm really sad she's off the show, she was totally hot.

Oh, and Max would never pass for a man in the real world. S/He's still way too feminine, especially the voice. I wonder how far they are going to go with Max's transition, since the character is played by a woman. Will they get into digitally altering her voice and stuff like that, or will they write the character off the show somehow before it gets that far?

IC seems intent on having Max as a character (despite the fact that Daniela Sea can't act), so I don't see him going anywhere. They'll just add more facial hair as times goes on. lol.

I'm totally w/ you on your love of Jane Lynch thirdrowcenter. She rocks every scene she's in.

I didn't realize this 'til yesterday, but apparently Sarah asked to leave the show. Sadness.

And while Helena and Alice are fine together, it's so wrong that it's not Dana pal-ing around w/ Alice. Makes me nauseaus.

I love Helena now. The only thing that bothers me a little is how quickly they did a 180 with her. Two years ago she was just evil. She tried to steal Tina from Bette. Then last year, she became nice. Bette still hated her. This year, she is talking about how she is going to help Bette fight to keep her daughter even though she had a relationship with Tina and she works with her. Don't get me wrong, I hate Tina with a firey passion now, but still.

Jenny's girlfriend is a damn dog. I mean, seriously. Jenny looked less smelly to me than she has in past years last night, but her funkiness went back up because of the new gf. And why on EARTH would the fabulous, gorgeous, yummy Marina sleep with the canine? I was actually looking forward to the Jenny/Marina hook up.

We are just going to have to ignore Max, I think. No matter how much everyone hates him, IC seems to like him. And I am SURE the boss would try to hook Max up with his daughter. Every man wants his daughter to date a small, scrawny, ugly man that talks like a woman.

Man, I am glad my show is back on. lol

re: Jenny - I didn't mind her in this ep. When compared to her ugly French girlfriend, Jenny actually seems appealing. I'm also not really a Marina fan, but she was looking fine. I hope they don't get back into the whole Jenny/Marina thing though, because really. Would you have a threesome with the girl you tried to kill yourself over and her new (UGLY) girlfriend? I don't think so. Crazy dyke drama I tell ya.

You know, now that I think about it, this show has lost the two most normal characters it had - Carmen and Dana. I don't care that Shane was becoming "boring" with Carmen, I want my two gold stars back together.

This show is all about Alice for me. W/o Alice, I'm not sure it'd be watchable for me.

And I don't mind frenchie...she's got this sensuality to her which is appealing.

I wasn't planning on watching this season, but I caught a rerun last night, and I have to admit that it wasn't bad.

Jenny never bothered me as much as she bothers most people. She's messed up, but I kind of feel for her. Hate the French chick. Was hoping Marina kicked her out and stayed with Jenny.

Hate what they're doing with Rosanna Arquette too.

Helena and Alice went from being my two least liked characters to my two new favs.

I wouldn't care if they made Dana's death turn out to be Alice's nightmare as long as they brought her back.

And, of course, I miss my Carmen most of all.

Getting rid of Dana was the stupidest thing the creative/writing team ever could have done. Getting rid of Carmen was the second. Which is why I steal all my episodes off the internet now. Take that your "artistic freedom" bastards!! *shakes fist in the air*

The actress who played Dana didn't even want to leave! Aye, I will never forgive them.

Alice remains the one of only two characters I enjoy these days. Helena being the second, although with this whole poor thing, I fear she'll become less likable.

The new episode was way too dark for my taste. It's like Showtime was pushing how the show will become much more fun this season, while the premiere was screaming "Abortion! Cocaine! Child abandonment! Car crashes! Custody battles! Crazy bitches!" Meh, I guess with the L word it's what you get these days. I miss season 1. And sometimes season 2.

And I agree with all of you, I hate Max. Why his boss would ever want to set him up with his daughter is beyond me. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll run away together. I hate Tina and Bette. And while Jenny was more likable, her girlfriend killed it, as did Marina. Oh L Word, how much you suck now. Get better. Fast.

Thoughts on this episode:
I don't like Max.
I can't like Jenny. Part of me wants to, but I can't.
I hate Tina now.
I want to marry Bette. (Or maybe I want to marry Jennifer Beals.)
I have to wait and see on the Cybil Shephard thing. I have trouble getting past what a witch she is in real life.
I adore Alice & Helena.
I miss the old Shane.
Kit's abortion bothered me and poor Pam Grier can't really act, can she?
And shoot me if you want, but damn, Papi is sexy. Nice scene. I would have really liked to have seen the one with Helena.

Anyone else wanna comment...?

Sorry, just got back to these messages now. At the HRC premiere event, they were handing out a dvd which had episode 2 on it.

Funny thing about this last ep is that Jenny never really bothered me like she did other people, but this last ep I couldn't stand her. I think the bratty cursing in front of the kid did it in for me. And I don't exactly have the cleanest mouth either (that sounds gross, but not like that :-P) lol.

I totally miss the old Shane. Hopefully this Papi character can bring a little bit of it back.

And speaking of Papi - HOLY SH*T!(insert bug eye smiley here) nice scene in the limo there. Good lord.

Helena coming out of the bushes at the end had me cracking up!

Max totally sucks. And can't act. And neither can Pam. Or Laurel. And I like Laurel (jury is still out on Tina).

I think Bette is back on track after the season of suckitude.

It's been so long since I've been optimistic about this show, but this has given me a glimmer of hope!

I am still watching but the show is even worse than last season. It is worse because now I find it boring as well as predictable.
