the adults indeed often know exactly what they are doing...and to whom.

Agreed, agreed...Beware kiddie winkies, there are a handful of adults who would love to lure you into their cage with lollipops.

Speaking of which.... learn a lesson from one really stupid adult/child. Using your actual street address as an e-mail addy is really stupid when you are pretending to go incognito.

Seriously kids, don't post private info. in public places.

re: the official 'don't be stupid when you post' thread

I have heard several stories of younger (underage) posters getting inappropriate PMs from older posters. They should be reported and of you are getting unwanted PMs ask them to stop and if they do not report them. There is also that handy ignore feature. Now that I think about it there is a lot on this board that I have shared that could link someone to who I am in real life. You never know. There are a few posters I have become friends with and if I considered meeting them it would be in a public place with lots of people or with a friend or two. Though I am fairly sure they aren't nutcases out to take advantage of me you cannot be too careful. I am above the legal age but still am not out of the woods of the crazies. Yes there are lots of crazy people out there. If I have any question about someone's intentions they get ignored. You can't completely trust anyone on this board unless you know them in real life. It's one of the reasons I don't use my picture as my icon anymore. Too risky. Several of my friends have had stalkers in real life so I can't urge you enough to post with caution. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Even if you don't think some of these posters are very nice to you on the board don't blow them off. "Nice is different than good." Which is something you should never take lightly.

(Iflit I wondered how you would handle the mailing of those Playbills since you are so careful about that kind of thing.)
My avatar is a reminder to myself. I need lots of reminders...

Alright Gunn. You can bring a friend. And I'll bring a friend for your friend. It'll be a swell time.

"Though I am fairly sure they aren't nutcases out to take advantage of me you cannot be too careful."

Well, I wouldn't call myself a nutcase...

I starred in a short film called Magnetic Personality. Check it out!

Liam, exactly how many more people have to tell you that they know your last name, your address and your phone number before you realize it's a LOT like that comershul?

I hear you call my name and it feels like home.

I think this thread title could also be taken as a challenge to up the level of discourse on the boards, too.

any thread that draws the vice presi - uh, i mean namo - from the security of his undisclosed location to post is a good thread.
