re: things that bother me...how about you?

omg, I was just at the store, and this old lady was just staring at me and squinting (i think it was me she was looking at), and then I just started looking at her and she looked away. I hate when people stare. It bothers me!
Ways to annoy people: Arrive at a meeting late, say you're sorry, but you didn't have time for lunch, and you're going to be nibbling during the meeting. Then eat raw potatoes. Ask people what gender they are,or Disagree strongly with everything anybody says:)

oooo thought of another one-When people crack their knuckles or other joints, ugh it's sooooo gross and people know I hate it so they do it to annoy me. I'm so easily annoyed :)

but some people do it on purpose in the middle of class! they'll just bend all their fingers to crack their knucles(ewww), then they'll hold on to the chair and turn around to crack their back (ewwwwwwwwww) and then they'll crack their neck, and it's just so gross and unecessary. If you do it on accident, I understand. Someone has to see where I'm coming from though...

Ummm, I actually do that quite often. I was visiting my aunt and she got freaked out by it though, she said I was going to break m back doing it.

I hate:
Bad hygiene
blackheads-grrrr
buying CD's and realizing they suck and theres nothing you can do about it then
when I'm surrounded by hot (straight men) and they are either a foot shorter than me (I'm really tall) or already with someone

I would just like to say that I am guilty of saying "melk" and I can't help it... I was raised in freakin' New England! It's all melk over there. That is one of the ONLY traces of my accent. Oh, and I have "r" problems.

"Idear"
"pizzer"

I do NOT drop R's, though... I force them out...

"MotheR" etc... my whole family has the worst Boston accents in the history of Boston accents, and I've spent a good portion of my life trying to correct the R problem. Only when I'm tired will I drop my R's... though I still add R's all over the place. I happen to be fond of the letter. Sue me.

re: things that bother me...how about you?

I seriously grew up in a community where no one pronounced it "mill-k." Sooo, whenever I try saying it that way it sounds weird to me. I also pronounce it "Ah-nt" not "Ant". There's a U in AUNT for a reason, folks! Just ask the Brits.

Oh, funny story. So, for the first 14 years of my life I pronounced it "Bahthroom" because 3 of my grandparents were British and my mom AND dad both pronounced it this way (still do). One day in high school someone told me she thought I was British for the entire freshman year because of the way I pronounced certain things. I quickly forced myself to start pronouncing it like the American that I AM!

re: things that bother me...how about you?

Yea, I know what you mean Nobiz.. Here's a list of things that bother me:

-People who come to my house and start conversations about how poorly kept it is. The world won't end if my bed isnt made or there are dishes in the sink. It isn't anyone's place to tell me that my house is disgusting because my furniture isn't covered in plastic and my clothes are folded 'funny'.
- People who decide Broadway is 'the worst sh*t they've ever heard of' when they've never listened to it for themselves
-Chewing with your mouth open
-Tapping on desks, putting your feet on a dest, clicking your tongue, people who sniffle constantly instead of getting a freaking tissue and blowing their nose
-The way Daphne Rubin-Vega sings 'Without You' ('WithouCHew')
(or anyone else that does that to t-y sounds)
-People who don't have to work for their money
-People who care more about their appearence and dating than getting an education, when that is why they are going to school in the first place

I'll think of more just give me a minute

re: things that bother me...how about you?

omg, noday, everyone at school bashes broadway! I mean, who cares if norberts last name is butz? THey say it's not music! omgomgomg thats just so stupid I almost want to laugh. THen they think rap is music. It's like, umm, what do you know? also, one time there was this girl who used to be my friend. She always chews with her mouth open, with circular rotations, like a cow. SO you can see the turkey and white bread and mayo and mushed up, (ewww), and she would just have this blank expression on her face, and she would be like staring at something while she was chewing. Her eyes just glazed over. I would say to her, "can you please stop chewing with your mouth open? (and I would come up with a fair arguement)" but then she would act like I was a horrible, idiotic person to ask her to do such a thing, and I had just stuck a knife through her heart. THen she would go on with her chewing. She also smacked gum with her mouth wide open with a mindless expresseion on her face, said melk, cossgeeoom, and bashed broadway. She always thought she was right, and if someone proved her wrong, she thought they were mean. She did everything that everyone put on their lists of things that bother them, I swear.

re: things that bother me...how about you?

Oh man, I have a lot. . .
-Whistling
- Clicking noises when people eat
- Fat people wearing clothes too small for them
- Whiney children
- Parents who don't smack their whiney brats
- Smoking
- Drinking
- When people lick their fingers EVERY time they turn a page in a book (I don't want to touch that book!)
- People looking over your shoulder when you read or write
- People who bring their children to the theatre with them when their kids have no attention span

Thats all I've got off the top of my head. re: things that bother me...how about you?
