Oh, boo. They gave her an extra half hour on Monday. Why'd they have to cut her off tonight? Things were really starting to cook.

she really *does* need more than an hour, i think a lot of people spend the first hour gettin up the courage to call.

A two hour format where she speaks for the first hour and takes calls for the second would definitely be a stronger program.

WW - 2 hours is a bit long. An hour is fine... if she would shorten the beginning a little and get right down to it.

Well, I like how she opened with responses to the previous show and got to share experiences that she'd had since then. (That's not motivated by the fact that she was talking about us - although that's nice. I appreciated it.) She needs a set time for an opening monologue, a set time to speak about the message she feels compelled to deliver that night, and a set time to receive calls. I feel like that would easily fit two hours and still be entertaining, but maybe a 90 minute format would work as well. I just feel like one hour is too short. I'm left wanting much more than I would normally want with a television program.

I also like the fact that she follows up for a bit. She had a lot of very interesting things to say this show. Especially some of the comments she made in response to the first caller - about how he allowed himself to be shark bait emotionally. It was much deeper than he expected.

yeah, & its not like anything is comin on before or after her.

whether an audience would stay tuned for 2 hours (i know i would & i think so would a lot of other people) is one thing, but i *KNOW* Ms Tylor would have no trouble filling two hours!

Also, when she gets to the "call-in" segment she loses a little control over the pace. She's at the mercy of the Ums and Ers and thoughtful (or frightened) silences of her callers - a situation we saw more than once tonight. She handled the "Dead Air" beautifully, but a longer format would have given her more time to speak about the things she *wanted* to speak about and still allowed time for that.

You are right about the pacing... she obviously cares about what callers have to say, but she needs to limit them to one question each if possible and have a time limit in her mind for the back and forth. She is on the right track though

her guest is...HER MOTHER!!!!!!

i have tickets to shows tonight & wednesday (tonight SHOOT THE MESSENGER and wednesday Brian Charles Rooney) so i cant be home to watch Alexyss!!!

PLEASE ***SOMEONE*** at LEAST capture the audio because i am honestly gonna be torn-up heartbroken if i cant hear Alexyss & her mama!!!!!!

we need these shows archived, because i cannot bear the thought of missing even ONE MINUTE of my Alexyss time!!!!

okies. i'll make sure to record the audio then for you :) it may take ages to load such a large mp3 but if i can download All My Children off Bit Torrent everyday just so i can watch it commercial free, then i'm sure there'll be no problem getting the mp3 to upload.

No, I was talking about methods of you getting a copy to Norn. Torrents have always been really slow for me.
