My favorite story of the week. The father of two teen boys in Arkansas is suing the library system/town because his sons found a "lesbian book" when looking for information on military schools (!), and "lost sleep..." Whoa I dare say, as a longtime observer of all types of porn, boys have been losing sleep over girl-on-girl action for decades, if not centuries. I'm reminded of that old line, "what doesn't destroy you make you stronger." Fellas, wait till you meet some interesting female cadets at the military institution of your choice. You will have rich fantasy lives, and will never need No-Doz.

Still not clear how the library is responsible, but hey, if the father thinks they owe him money for somethingorother, then I'm sure the lawsuit is perfectly legit. So who is going to sue the father for not making sure his boys went to sleep? Or is the library responsible for that as well?

Technically, if God makes us, then yes, he makes us homosexual. Especially if you believe that God has a plan for us. If you believe that, and you turn out gay, clearly, he has a plan to use it.

Further, any Christian who condemns homosexuality is breaking even MORE rules set forth in the bible than a homosexual is. I seem to remember Loving thy neighbor being repeated MULTIPLE times, where homosexual intercourse has, what, two mentions? Seems to me you should be loving more than condeming.

My guess is you are either a very ignorant close-minded heterosexual who does not believe anything could be different than the way you want it to be or you are a repressed homosexual struggling to deal with your own same-sex attraction which conflicts with your misinterpreted primitive religious preference.

Maybe by saying s/he does not mess with what God gave her when she was born she's giving a clue she no longer lies with her father? Or does it mean the opposite?

As for lack of sleep caused by lesbianism- can the father who instigated the lawsuit sue Mary Cheney/Heather Poe? I am sure they have cause sleepless nights for many. May I suggest reading Lynn Cheney's novel SISTERS as an anecdote? You know the one- with lesbian sex scenes, incest, bordellos. All the things near and dear to Amanda's delusions.....
