we are having our taxes done tomorrow......and a root canal on Thursday.......methinks tomorrow will be worse!

Not only are my taxes already done, but I'm already spending my refund.

Of course, I rent, have no dependents, and have no savings...its not too hard to do.

Oddly, Texas doesn't have state income taxes.

I did my taxes and got my refund back all last week through turbo-tax! Its all going to pay for my trip to Berlin next month!

I did my federal and state taxes on paper and mailed them in, which FREAKS people out when I tell them. "Don't you know you can do them online?!?!?!" Yes, I know. I'm not an idiot. I just prefer to do them on paper so I can do all the math and make sure it's all done right.

I tried to do them last night. When I file jointly with my hub, I get a refund, but when I tried to file separately, it told me I owed more than my refund would have been. Makes absolutely no sense to me.

Vote Republican in November and we can do away with the IRS. Republicans have been pushing a flat tax for years.
