Euan's Joe's Pub concert was just fantastic, he was hysterical and his voice came off so well. Wonderful.

It was a great night. The whole weekend was great starting with the CD Signing. He is so personable and that voice. I really hope he does a CD sometime soon.

Lately I've been obsessing over "Planet Z" by Idina Menzel, even though I've known the song for a while.

And "Everytime" by Britney Spears...but let's pretend I didn't say that.

Oh yeah...and "Everybody's Got the Right." I just got the Assassins cd.

Hmm, I guess I should chnage my response to "everything from Assassins" because I just listened to the cd three times through and I'm starting it again.

I think my favorite is "Ballad of the Booth" and "Ballad of Czolgosz," but right now, I can't resist Marc Kudisch's voice in "Everybody's Got the Right."

BDWAYGIRL, Of course I was at Euan's gig!!
I was so so so happy to hear him sing it live too since I never saw the London production!

He has an incredible range and everytime I think he won't hit a note, it comes out perfectly.
Scares me everytime! haha

I have "Petrified" stuck in my head 24/7. I've been obsessed with it ever since I got the recording back in June. It's such a great song (and I'm not just saying that because Raul sings it).

I also love this Romanian song that is huge in Europe by Ozone (I can't remember the title). That's been playing in my head for the last 2 weeks.

I'm obsessed with 3 at the minute. WHEN I LOOK AT YOU (The Scarlet Pimpernel. Even if Christine Andreas' vibrato is a tad ott on that song), SHOW ME (My audition song for a local Guilbert & Sullivan group) and DEFYING GRAVITY (though am I the only one who thinks Wicked's music sounds very much like some mainstream pop?)

I'm tempted to bring it to my next voice class....although I had previously swore off torrid love ballads.
