i always watch friends when im sick or home on a weekday with nothing to do (watching it right now, ha)
Love Actually's definitely the one I can watch repeatedly and not get bored by it. I've seen it in the double-digits now and I STILL cry at the same parts.
(Everyone all-together now..."The best part of my day is driving you home..." "The saddest part of my day is leaving you.")
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind or Heavenly Creatures.

yeah, I always "go to" old Star Trek TNG episodes, whenever I'm sick or feeling really down. That or I listen to Star 911, which is really uplifting.
Ya know, any episode of SEX AND THE CITY falls into this niche pretty easily.
The Boondock Saints or Almost Famous
(or if I need a good cry I watch Behind the Red Door)
Back to the Future or Ghostbusters. And sometimes Garden State.
When Harry Met Sally
Pride and Prejudice (BBC/A&E miniseries)
The latter of which, being six hours long, is kind of problematic when I have a lot to do...
Also, the movie that never fails to make me smile: Happy Gilmore

A Knight's Tale, Serendipity.
Oo, Emcee, I could go to John Cusack anytime.
Add SatC to my list too. I'm obsessed with SJP. I'd get down on my knees and lick the bottom of her shoe, I would.
Shub, he's like a puppy!
I know!! I want to eat him. Well, not really eat him. Can we have Jake Gyllenhaal and John Cusack in a movie together???
mmmmm. Jake's so precious. I never used to think so because his eyes creeped me out since they SORT of make him look like a bug, but he's such a cutie.
He had me at, "Oh my God! It's 'A Little Night Music!'"
Also, any episode of the show Felicity
He had me when he put on the cowboy hat.
I have such a thing for cowboys, it's pathetic.
Seriously. I felt the same way, emcee. But it works.
Tiff, I need to see that interview.
Oh, I think John Cusack in Say Anything... also qualifies for me.
...I'm noticing that I have too many of these.
Me, too. I read about it, of course, but didn't get to see it.
As for the cowboy thing? I blame Mister Wilson.
You really do. I used to view him like a sad puppy dog but I see him in a new light after that interview (and after seeing an impressive outline in those swim trunk photos).
OK, Jake Gyllenhaal, Patrick Wilson, and John Cusack. Holy SH*T. I wouldn't leave my bed for a month.
You'd have Brokeback! Pwahahaha. Ha.
(And I forgot how hot Patrick Wilson is until I watched AiA and Phantom back to back the other day. Seriously. HOT. John Cusack I could go either way on. He reminds me of the Pillsbury dough boy or Logan Echolls from Veronica Mars.)
I'm turning into SUCH a Heath Ledger fangirl. Fangirling film actors goes against so many of my beliefs!
