But a hot version.
Patrick Wilson is amazingly hot. When he came to BTP, he picked a friend of mine to sing All I Ask Of You with him, after he did his whole Q&A thing, and we all got to go up and meet him and hug him and *DIIIIES*
Paige Davis was funny... she was there during the Q&A. He said something like "I've never felt comfortable just standing onstage and being the pretty boy," and she yelled "You're doing a pretty good job right now!"
Fight Club. hands down. It's my comfort movie that I've seen 28 times now.
Akiva
any Disney movie. my favorites are Beauty and the Beast, and Finding Nemo. Always cheers me up.
And Love Actually. Hehehe. Ultimate feel good movie
-Drop Dead Gorgeous
-Sex and the City on DVD
-Scrubs on DVD
-Friends on DVD
and this is really lame...but Miracle. I hate sports and I usually hate sports movies, yet I love this one. Probably all the cute guys
Steel Magnolias
The Big Chill
I don't need a movie to feel better about myself......but when I'm a bit down and need a lift, I watch one of several
The Women
Stagedoor
Love Actually
Big Chill
When I'm down, here are my feel goods, Return of the Jedi, Better off Dead, Hairspray, Pretty In Pink, Heathers, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Airplane, The Princess Bride, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, these always put me in a better mood.
A Chorus Line, Legally Blonde, Little Shop of Horrors, Miss Congeniality, and Hercules. ALWAYS Hercules.
Titanic
Love Actually
The sound of Music
Since I own WAY too many movies (approx. 1,000), I usually "go to" my DVD list, spend about 2 hours trying to pick something I want to watch... get completely involved in the process, get exhausted... then put the list away and move on with my day.
I'm better off watching movies WITH someone, anyway.

Lol! I do the same thing, Best12bars! By the time I figure out what I want to watch, I don't have the time to watch it. (And I don't have a collection anywhere large enough to require a list). Though, in a pinch, I've been known to watch Ghostbusters, Young Guns, Benny and Joon, or a classic spooker like The Uninvited or The Haunting (the one with Julie Harris) if I want a diversion and to escape for awhile.

For cheering up: TOOTSIE.
For emotional cleansing and a good fix of "childlike wonder": E.T. or THE WIZARD OF OZ.
For calming myself down (this might be a jawdropper): TRON. It's the quietest, most soothing action movie in all existence. I mean, it's mostly scored for flute, celeste, and harp, for heaven's sakes!

Either Annie, The Wizard of Oz, or Marry Poppins
When I need courage, which is often, I go to Young Guns - especially the first one. The "Yeah, Charlie!" scene still brings tears to my eyes.
Moonstruck is my favorite romantic movie. There is nothing about it I don't love - and oh how I covet that kitchen!
Okay, this is sappy, but I'm a sucker for the romance in You've Got Mail - when "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" starts at the end, I just sigh with a big grin on my face. Oh, I SO believe in love and romance - I don't care if it isn't out there for me. Just knowing it's out there somewhere for somebody is all I need.
I usually watch the 2003 version of Peter Pan...because i love jeremy sumpter. Pay it Foward is one of my favorites, and love actually.
Into The Woods DVD, Center Stage, Phantom of the Opera, Amelie, or episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer lol.
