Posted: 7/13/05 at 7:45pmYou know, I have no idea why, but it's usually 80-100 degrees here (in MT) in the summer, and almost no one has air conditioning. I think it's just because it's only been this hot consistently for 5 years or so (at least where I live) so we still don't think it necessary. Anyway, it's 92 degrees today, and I'm incredibly hot.
Why do we play with fire?
Why do we run our fingers through the flame?
Why do we leave our hands on the stove, although we know we're in for some pain?

Posted: 7/13/05 at 7:50pmI'd totally adopt you. I even have a dog (Walter Bondi). But alas, hardly anyone has a/c in the greater Seattle area. Though you don't really need it but for a few weeks in August.

Aww, I live in the only non air conditioned house in America I think. If you ever want to visit a third world nation, stop by my house in Pennsylvania and bring care packages of window fans and ice cubes.
