Good Luck!

With advertising like that how could it possibly fail?

Taking self-promotion to the next level.
What day does this end and you get a much needed break from plugging your project hourly?

Me included, though I wouldn't speak for newintown, who clearly posted just to be a Dick.

Posted: 8/23/12 at 1:59amomg, my cousin and her husband saw this show last week and raved so much that I'm going to see the matinee tomorrow! Can't wait, they said it was the best $15 they ever spent. :)

Posted: 8/24/12 at 2:49pmSaw the show yesterday! It was AMAZING! I couldn't believe it was just a fringe show. You and your wife should be really proud! She's a great actor and Trey is outstanding. What's next for this wonderful show? Broadway?

Posted: 8/24/12 at 3:31pmGoldie3, you seem to be trying just a bit too hard. You joined yesterday, and have only posted about this. It just raises some flags.

Posted: 8/24/12 at 3:50pmMy cousin sent me this link to buy tickets because it had all the information. I bought tickets, made myself an account on this site, and saw the show yesterday. Ugh, you can't be a new fan of something? I guess I should post a thread about Jeremy Jordan's underwear or something. Is that's what this message board is for?

Goldie: Yes, you can be a new fan, and yes, you can post about someone's underwear.
BroadwayWorld is a community of people who love the theater. Everyone is welcome to express their enthusiasm, and even their lack of it. But posters are encouraged to post about more than a single show.
Most of us don't mind "shilling," when the poster is honest about actually being involved in the show, as Nicholas Kohn did. There was no subterfuge there. He is a working actor, taking on the hard job of producing a showcase for the work of a playwright he believes in. He took his lumps when one poster called him a shill, and the rest of us walked away from the thread with a basically positive impression of him and his collaborators.
Then you showed up and ruined his good work.
I'm sure you're intelligent enough to understand that joining and posting exclusively on a single show makes you look not only like a shill but also like a phony. If you had posted on some other shows, you would have had some credibility. But instead you made the mistake of another recent poster here who joined just to praise a certain show from London and ended up doing more damage to that show's reputation than he did help.
Your use of the phrases "my cousin and her husband saw this show and raved" and "my cousin sent me this link to buy tickets" is laughable, the kind of thing Avenue Q itself made fun of, with the song "My Girlfriend in Canada." Even if you have a cousin, even if your cousin has a husband, it sounds like you are making it up.
If you are genuine enthusiastic about this show, I would seriously advise you to stop trying to help it.
Your posts are an insult to the hard work Nicholas and Trey and Marissa have done.

well put PJ.
I actually am seeing the show tomorrow afternoon with a friend and looking forward to it. I know some of the folks on the creative end, and am excited to support their work!

Posted: 8/26/12 at 4:27pmGlad it went so well, but now I am curious about Jeremy Jordan's preference of undies. We all know what kind Mormans wear.
