According to the following article from playbill.com, 101 Dalmatians: The Musical will be stopping by the Princess of Wales Theatre from Feb. 2-14, 2010.
Just thought I would break the news, so I'm guessing Sound of Music will be gone after Christmas, and they will use the theatre as a touring house until Priscilla has put on her makeup.
I think this is a mistake. (Possibly a mistake of venue.) Originally Dancap was to bring this tour in, but apparently that fell through because they don't have a theatre. Is it possible that Mirvish picked it up? Maybe. But Sound of Music contracts go through mid-February. That doesn't mean it will last that long. I found this info strange...I guess we'll see what happens later this year.

Is The Sound of Music going to the dogs?
According to a report on the site Playbill.com, 101 Dalmatians: The Musical, a Jerry Zaks-helmed touring family production, is supposedly set to take the Princess of Wales Theatre stage Feb. 2 to 14 next year.
The musical features a score by Styx member Dennis DeYoung and kicks off in Minnesota in October, then crosses North America until it comes to Toronto.
But a Mirvish spokesperson says the information on the site is incorrect. The Sound of Music is currently in residence at the Princess of Wales theatre. While tickets are on sale up until Nov. 2, the hope is that the almost 10-month-long production will still be keeping the hills alive well into next year.
Which means the 101 Dalmatians announcement might have been presumptuous, or at least premature.
"We have not booked (101 Dalmatians) for the Princess of Wales theatre. In fact, we haven't booked it at all. Are we interested in doing the show? Yes, we are. Are we in negotiations with these people? Yes we are," says John Karastamatis of Mirvish Productions.
"But they have not concluded and we don't know what venue it would be at, should it come here. It sounds like a terrific production and it would be wonderful to have in the city, and once negotiations are completed and we have everything down, we'll announce it."
Karastamatis says other Mirvish venues, including the Canon Theatre and the Royal Alexandra, are open for those dates and could possibly house the production.
For now, it seems there's no worry that Cruella de Vil and her henchmen will have to solve a problem like Maria.
