As I'm sure most flopaholics know, this was the average ticket price for The Blonde in the Thunderbird, during the week it closed. How did the average price go so low? It was papered THAT much?

Yes, more than half the house was papered every night. I was one of the few who bought a tdf ticket ($33) so that drove the average price up a tiny bit. I wonder if anyone paid full price.

The average ticket price doesn't take paper into account.
This means there was some group like Audience Extras that was probably selling tix for a buck or two a pop.

Don't they count the service charge that a papering organization adds on to the ticket (usually around $5)?

Only if the money goes to the show/theatre.

Sorry to ask such a stupid question... but what does it mean to paper something?

Ouch. I feel bad for her. It was such an embarassment.
