How wet does one get?
I saw 110 last night from a center splash seat. You really barely get wet. Just a tad bit splashed. I had the towel on my legs and I was fine. It lasts like 15 seconds.
you took a towel with you?
First row only, and at intermission the entire front row is given a towel. I was seating in the second row and barely got wet at all.
Not very. The stage is raked and about 2 feet from you. The water rains from directly above the edge of the stage, and you get the errant drops as it comes down as well as a little splashback from the stage. They give you a towel, but I didn't use it. It was a sunny day and I was dry in 5 minutes. It's not like Metamorphoses, where they came barreling through a pool and you were in danger of a tidal wave.
lol Born To Reign....
do you keep the towel??
sorry for such random questions
Lm4dham052 it rains for at least 30 seconds to a minute.
I was there for yesterday's matinées and no one seemed to get as wet as the actors who get DRENCHED!
It was one of the best finales I have ever seen in a show!
Now, if only I get get a matinée ticket for GG next wed!
Sorry the towel has to stay (remember RoundAbout is a non profit company)
Wish I could have, but they started collecting them LITERALLY almost during curtain call
It's really such a great deal. I mean, even the best discount code out for this show now is Front Mezzanine for $78.25, and this is $56.25 for the front row of the Orchestra. It is an absolutely extraordinary experience, and everyone who can should take advantage of it. The show is absolutely stunning. This was my second time seeing it. The cast members were so sweet at the stage door as well.
Thanks guys!!!
Going to be there on the 27th!!

I am seeing it from 4th row center this Saturday at 2PM and can't wait! I am also looking forward to seeing Audra at the stage door. She seems like a wonderful person whenever she is on any kind of tv show. She's so RAUNCHY!!
Enjoy, enjoy! You will love it.

I sat in a splash seat tonight (my second viewing) and was completely blown away. I sat in a student rush seat in the mid-mezz last time, and this was completely worth the extra $10. There may be a few left for these next few days; get them quickly! I might try to get another one tomorrow, for Thursday or Friday perhaps; I am in awe. There are great performances happening on that stage. I'm glad I've been able to see them!
It is absolutely perfect. You see EVERYTHING. During the scene leading into and including "Lizzie's Comin' Home" watch Bobby Steggert's facial expressions. They are priceless. That kid had me laughing so hard.

Two questions:
Is the stage high?
and
Where are the Splash seats avalible?
You have to go to the box office to get the tickets for the 'Splash' seats....as far as if the stage is high i don't believe so but i'm sure someone can help you out with that....i haven't seen the show yet, but i'm going on Friday!!!
So Excited
The stage is rather low. My whole chest and head were above stage level. I could see perfectly.
And, as Lm4dham052 said, the tickets can only be purchased at the box office.
Such amazing seats! Being able to see every expression on everyone's face is wonderful!! I LOVED my seat!!

I didn't know that the audience near the front was given towels. I was wondering about that - I sat in the rear orchestra but I was like "that looks like a lot of water" hehe.
I love the end of that show
Great, great view from splash seats. And they were fairly easy to get. I got mine on weds for last sat's show. The lady at the box office said they had some avail all week, but I took sat night b/c it was almost dead center. It's sooooo worth the money and you really dont get that wet. And lets be real, who cares how much you get wet if you're able to sit front row to see Audra. She is A-MA-ZING!
I sat in row H center on last Saturday night(I used TDF and was shocked to be in the orchestra) they didn't get that wet...I loved this show, so much that when I got home, I got tickets to see it again this Saturday night and I am taking two of my drama students who graduated and have never seen a broadway show....so am creating new broadway junkies
I gave in and got a splash ticket for Thursday night, A4. Will this be alright? Either way, I'm excited to see the show.
That'll be great! Enjoy!
