Really?! Tell me more about this soundtrack. Was the film as good as the stage production?

I only questioned it because of the movie of the same title.

re: 13

I just saw this tonight and I have to say I was really really impressed. The energy was great, the kids were unbelievable and I thought the music was very good as well. Was it the best show I have seen? Probably not but it was defiantly a very fun night out, especially for 10th row for 25 bucks! haha The end was awesome too, these kids are VERY talented for a group of 13-15 year olds. Good for them to make it onto Broadway.

I was at the show tonight too (front row student rush... do it!). I loved it. It was just a really fun night out and those kids are so freaking talented. I would definitely give it a chance... I mean, everyone's entitled to their own opinions but you never know, you might really like it. I'm certainly glad I saw it!

re: 13, Presented by 20th century fox!

I hear Madonna's in it. They had to change the keys to suit her voice though...
A little known fact is that in the original screenplay, Pan's Labyrinth was Pan's FLAByrinth. Hmmmmmmm...glad they changed it.

Blaxx, the thing is, not everyone on here is a show queen who gets grumpy whenever someone calls something a "soundtrack". Who cares?

Oh, how I'd love to see a bunch of teens curl up in front of "13" expecting to see a movie version of the musical.

To answer the OP's question: No.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"

13 is adorable, it's fun, and those kids are incredibly talented. Not to mention how damn catchy that score is...
And hang on, when did you win the discus?

re: 13, Presented by 20th century fox!

Catchy is an understatement. After the first time I saw the show, I had "It Can't Be True" in my head for a good 48 hours.
