no offense to the 13 creative team but i can definitely see why this show is in need of money.

i absoultely love the show and its getting really good reviews....but almost everyone i know is getting tickets for either free or for some huge discount! the creative team needs to cut back on the giveaways and maybe they will get some more money coming their way! just today i saw three offers for tickets to the show. one was a contest and you get free tickets, another was you get 28 dollar tickets, another was you get 32 dollar tickets....and all decent seats

its kind of ridiculous
but nevertheless i raelly hope people start paying so this show can stay on for as long as possible

Yes you are blaxx, they need to buy tickets to the show, like anyone else but get the other stuff for free!

Sorry, love, one last time - you are using the words "buy" and "free" in the same sentence. I understand the promotional purposes, but if I need to buy 13 tickets to get it, it is not free.

Not only do you have to buy 13 tickets to get these "offerings", but you have to pay an extra fee for each one of these. This is not free.

So much for a Broadway debut being something that is achieved. I guess anything can be bought nowadays.

This is really disgusting.

BC/EFA has been selling walk on roles in shows for YEARS. This is not new.

Yes, for charity. Not for profit..

"13" Producers can keep dreaming somebody is dumb enough to get 13 full-priced tickets to their show. Updated On: 10/9/08 at 07:01 PM

i am going to reiterate, just because of all the negative comments on here, that i think it's a great idea and the package is certainly catering to their target audience.

of course they are offering heavy discounts right now...a lot shows are because of the economy. and yes, as actor2be mentioned, they do appear to being giving out a lot of discounts and comps but last night i was at the show and attendance appeared to be at about 95%. i was in the orchestra and there were some open seats here and there, but apparently the mezz was packed. while it most likely does have a lot to do with discounts and comps, i would like to optimistically think that it also has to do with some of the glowing reviews it got!

No, there is no extra free.

Blaxx, I did not say the tickets were free, I said the perks were free. So if the tickets were bought already and the extra things come for free. Yes, it is free, not the tickets but all the perks.

The poster was making no distinction. He/she was simply saying that it was disgraceful a "Broadway debut" could be bought. Does a brief walk-on role really count as a Broadway debut?

So, if I tell you that if you buy me a car I'd have lots of sex with you, you'd think you paid for the car and the sex is just a free perk?

Why would I have sex with a stranger?

Your trying to make me look like a fool, not falling for it. But you have the general idea.

13 tickets= FREE Walk-on, signed picture etc...
Free perks with the tickets.
