It's probably antithetical to this interpretation of 1776, but I'd like to see Joanna Glushak play Adams, even just for a night. Her Dickinson was amazing (and I am sad that she's been relegated to the role of Hopkins), and I'd like to hear Joanna's spin on Is Anybody There? (While there were many aspects of Crystal's performance to like, I wasn't wow-ed by her Is Anybody There?)
I was ambivalent about seeing this again, as my reaction to the A.R.T. production was ... lukewarm at best. But Carolee Carmello as Dickinson may be enough of a reason for me to give this show another shot.
