And what an album! Not only enjoyable and listenable, but the most beautiful gate-fold presentation Columbia had/has ever done. Every living room in America had to have it. And pushed, as it was, by the Columbia Record Club, every living room had it.

This was also the year that Tammy Grimes won Featured Actress in a Musical as the title freakin' character of THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN, so, ya know, Tony rules hadn't really figured themselves out yet and would not for a number of years. Take it with a grain of salt?

And by 1975 they still hadn’t figured it out. Rita Moreno won for Supporting Actress in a Play for THE RITZ - she was the leading actress and pointed out that fact in her acceptance speech.
