Terry Burrell as "Michelle", Sheryl Lee Ralph as "Deena" and Loretta Devine as "Lorrell" perform the title song on Jerry Lewis' MDA Telethon in 1983.

Can't tell if it's Terry or Loretta who's pitchy in this clip - but Sheryl sounds good.

Terry is so focused on the choreography as she doesn’t perform this in the actual show, she’s in Jennifer Holliday’s track here as they chose the Las Vegas costumes for this performance of the title song.
