I read somewhere tickets are being sold through October 1st. That's awfully soon. Any updates on a closing date? I have no idea how grosses are doing. Also apologies if this has already been posted.

October 8th has always been the closing date. 1984 is a limited engagement, has always been advertised that way, and is not closing early.

^This. So yes, it's closing, but no need to make a huge deal out if as it was planned.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

I'm frankly surprised it's managed to finish its entire run. The performance I attended a couple weeks ago was pretty darn empty.
