Why does the role of Ron Weasley in Cursed Child on Broadway have one person for weekday performances and one actor for weekend performances?

I dunno, but I also just noticed they’ve officially replaced Matt Mueller as Ron on the tour. He was absent for a little more than half of the shows Chicago run, but they never removed him from the playbill.

Huh. Weird...I would guess there is a scheduling reason, which may be temporary, due to an actor having other commitments or an injury or something.

It seems thee lovely actor playing Ron (Daniel) is on basically a partial paternity leave- he does the weekend shows and then they brought back another recent Ron (David Abeles) to do the weeknight shows. Daniel's wife recently had another baby and he wanted to have more time to be at home helping her with the newborn and their other children.
I imagine this way he gets to keep his health insurance weeks and not use all of his paternity/vacation days at once? It's lovely that they're helping him to make it work.
