I am overjoyed that they canceled the tour because the Lied Center (KU) is replacing it with Patti LuPone !! (I do feel bad for the actors and actresses though)

Bullets Over Broadway Jun 14-26 2016

42nd Street Jun 28-Jul 10 2016

 

All shows will be at Music Hall at Fair Park.

 

I'm pleased with the season except for The Little Mermaid.  That small tour was here last year and I hated the show.  But, I really love Ragtime and 42nd Street.

Wow, that's a pretty high percentage of non-Eq shows on the DSM season.

Just announed today. That Pantages Theatre here in L.A. announced 6 additional shows!

This is crazy! Now we have a total of 14 show! So happy.

We already had:

IU Auditorium in Bloomington announced their season a little bit ago.

The Illusionists - October 6th (2 Shows, 7pm and 10pm)

Joseph - October 13th - 14th

Stomp - February 9th - 10th

42nd Street - March 1st - 2nd

Annie - April 5th - 6th

Once - April 19th - 20th

Bullets over Broadway - May 2nd - 3rd

I think newsies should come back to Chicago, because they did set a record in Chicago with the highest gross in one week for a theatrical performance.

I realize this is an old post and it's now been on the BIC website for awhile, but in case you didn't see it, Newsies is returning next summer.
