Given how The Ferryman has won Outer Critics Circle Award, Drama League, & Drama Desk for Best Play, then I guess it's pretty much the frontrunner for the Tony Award for Best Play.
Do any of you guys think there may be an 'upset' for this award category on Sunday? I ask simply because the Tony nominators watched the original broadway cast but I'm not sure whether all Tony voters have seen the OBC before they left in February. I've seen the play a few times (both with the old and new cast) and though the new cast is solid, still preferred the original cast.

Constitution has a very slight chance at an upset, but I think this is one of the most locked-in categories. Really, Ferryman has been the frontrunner since it opened (with some possible competition from Mockingbird, but obviously not anymore). Constitution has a lot of love for it and could pull a few votes, but I still don't see it being nearly enough.
