28 Days with Sandra Bullock is on TV right now. Anyone think if done right and adapted for the stage this could be a great play?

True story - years ago when I was working at Blockbuster, a woman came in returning this movie and "28 Days later" and was "FURIOUS that this was NOT the sequel! I kept watching and waiting for Sandra Bullock!!"

I never really saw 28 Days, but I take it is about a woman entering rehab? If so, I think Girl, Interrupted would be a much better play.

Although I prefer musicals...

Well, if they can make a musical out of Titanic, they can make one out if rebar. Too bad Amy Winehouse isn't here to play the lead.

I think it would make a great vignette musical focusing on one character - like Company.

True story, the 28 Days/28 Days Later confusion was actually on an episode of "The Office":

Jim: No way. How do you confuse 28 Days with 28 Days Later?
Pam: Because I got it at Blockbuster and they don't put the pictures on the box.
Jim: No, you're making this up!
Pam: Would I make that up?

For the record, I'd far rather see a musical of 28 Days Later.
