How cool! Really hoping to catch it!
Is there Playbill artwork available? Would LOVE to see what the cover art looks like! :)
Is this a trend? SOMETHING ROTTEN, set in 1595, Sold tix for the first few performances for $15.95 ..... now 39 STEPS for $39 ....... this could be a challenge for any producer mounting the next production of THREEPENNY OPERA.
It's something that shows have been doing for awhile now. When BBAJ transferred to Broadway they offered the first performance tickets for a Jackson ($20). The TodayTix lottery offers HAMILTON tickets for a Hamilton ($10).
THREEPENNY OPERA at the Atlantic actually did offer tickets via TodayTix lottery for 3 pennies.
And when Wicked started on Broadway… believe it or not… the entire house was set at a ticket price under $100 (it's escaping me what that price was now.. but it was extremely affordable at the time). It's a great idea for producers to fill the house and get the buzz going early, in my opinion.
threepenny - hysterical! How about Million Dollar Quartet?
PS the 39 Shows for $39 is for Orchestra seats.
ALL MEZZANINE SEATS will ALWAYS be $39…keeping theatre affordable, and there are some GoldStar and Living Social deals for even less in previews.

I've seen this show on Broadway and at World Wide Stages. Not sure I need to see it again. I am surprised it is back so soon.
Millions haven't seen it for the FIRST time, as our ticket sales and group bookings are showing.
