3rd of July extra shows?

Any chance they add matinees for July 3 as it's the official Federal Holiday?

We're coming down that weekend and want to see Fireworks on Saturday night, hope we aren't only going to be able to see 2 shows that weekend.

Already have The Flick booked, and looking for 2 more to round things out (probably Sump'n Rotten and one other)

Oh, good lord! I KNOW I linked the right one. I tired to be helpful and failed. I can no longer try.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Rotten has Sunday evening shows, which might help you get your count up.

Unfortunately we hit the road Sunday AM to get back to Boston without taking 7 hours to do so.

I don't know what you have seen already...

Matilda has an extra Friday mat as well as Fri night and Sat mat

We've seen most things that have been around for at least a year, including Matilda and King and I. Fish in the Dark is a leading contender -- we weren't really planning to see it (not big Larry David fans, but we do like Jay), but that might be what we get. We have to be in the are of TKTS anyway around 11AM on that Friday, so maybe we'll just hit the booth

FYI, apparently the holiday weekend doesn't sell well, since the two matinees (4th and 5th) were both still allowing codes at the otherwise SRO "Fun Home."

An Act of God has a Friday matinee. I'm also coming up for that weekend (Thursday - Sunday) and it allowed me to squeeze in one extra show to make it a 5 show trip!

The mass exodus of the haves for the long weekend makes it easier for those who stay in the city to get otherwise-difficult tickets. I've never been a beach person myself and usually stay in town, and in the last couple of years, MDW and July 4th have allowed me to get into shows that were otherwise SRO (last year it was CABARET).

We saw Fun Home at the Public, and Act of God isn't on our list of things to see, but I appreciate all the feedback and info
