Why is this thread called Six Degrees?

Six Degrees is usually when you need to get from one actor to another using only six things.

Because the game we're playing, had there been a defined end, is essentially the same formula of "6 Degrees" -- so by naming this thread a familiar game, people are more inclined to participate and know the rules of the game ahead of time.

13 Pages of participation speaks for itself, don't you think? Misnomer or not :)

Plus, it's FAR shorter name of a game than the OTHER thread that's going on right now with the same idea...
