I just watched Barbra Streisand Live in Concert on my DVR that was on Saturday night I think and at the end there was a commercial for 9 to 5. Yay! I had never seen it before. It's with Allison and she's introducing each character ("This is Judy..." and it shows clips of Stephanie, etc.). Lots of good clips.

Allison really didnt havethat long of a segment. She basically talked about how she never thought she'd do a musical and shes not really a singer but Joe Mantello asked her to do it and there she is. Then she talked about some new Sam Mendes movie she is in soon.

That commercial is so funny! I love how it freezes on Judy with the gun and Hart struggling in his chair. And Allison is great. "...Love her!" haha. I believe that dancer near the end is Neil Haskell, no?

Well, despite that uncertainty regarding the rush policy, the show seems to be doing really well spreading the word and getting publicity. That commercial will grab people's attention and may get a laugh out of them, which is a great way to engage a potential audience member.

It's been confirmed by playbill.com that the cast will perform "Shine like the Sun" on the View. I am excited to see it. Hopefully someone can record and put it up? =)

Yay, can't wait to watch them on The View. I thought they would go with the title song, but I'm glad they're doing "Shine Like the Sun" instead.

Every time I'm alerted about responses to this thread, I keep hoping that someone has linked a clip of Allison's appearance on Regis & Kelly. I totally missed it while at work. Anyone?

I'm glad to see Steph doing some promotion. I thought they would always have Allison do it since she's more well-known outside of Broadway. So it's nice to see Stephanie be able to show off her incredible voice. Damn, how is she able to belt like that so early in the morning? She wows me every time.

Very cool! I didn't know she was singing two songs :)

I was able to see a sit down interview live online this morning (not what's shown on their site), but not the performance. I got a good laugh when after mentioning her past roles, the host brought up that Liza had been on their show recently, and without missing a beat Stephanie asked, "Really? Was she (cue Liza impression) TERRIFIC?" NOTHING. The joke totally went over the host's head! LOL

It actually is on their site. They're still streaming this morning's episode online - so if you catch the streaming at the right time or you're willing to sit through the rest of it and wait for Stephanie, it's up.
