No problem! And thanks, rykiramom, for the heads up that Steph was back in as of yesterday. You mentioned you run Gaelen's website... please tell her that I know two people who saw her and thought she was wonderful; one in particular that went ESPECIALLY because she heard she'd be on. I hope she had a fun time stepping in =)

Does anyone know what they are performing on The View?

That will make her very happy. I will pass the info along. If there is ever any question about whether or not she is going on I will post on either the fans Myspace page or her official website. I can start these posts when previews are done. Thanks for the nice words.

re: 9 TO 5: TV ALERTS

Thanks!

DefyingGravity, I assume it'll either be 9 TO 5 or Shine Like The Sun. I'm leaning towards 9 TO 5, but obviously that's just a guess.

Also, seems to be a broadway performances week on Regis and Kelly the week Allison is on:

Mon 4/27: Allison Janney
(no show listed here yet on site I used to look up these things. Perhaps we'll see a 9 TO 5 performance here too?)
Tue 4/28: a performance of "Billy Elliot"
Wed 4/29: a performance of "Rock Of Ages"
Thu 4/30: a performance of "West Side Story"
Fri 5/1: a performance of "Shrek the Musical"

re: 9 TO 5: TV ALERTS

I really hope 9 to 5 performs that day Allison is there on Regis & Kelly. I don't see why not. I guess R&K are having their Broadway-themed week so there must be some performance. 9 to 5 seems the most likely since Guys and Dolls and Next to Normal (the only other two new shows I could think of that MIGHT be appearing that aren't already scheduled) have already opened and have not appeared that much (or at all?) on TV interviews and such. Ugh, sorry I rambled, but yeah... I hope 9 to 5 performs on Regis and Kelly too!

EDIT - Um, nevermind. Mary Poppins will be performing that day. According to tvguide.com for their show on the 27th:
"On Broadway Week" begins with Allison Janney ("9 to 5") and a visit to "Mary Poppins."

Weird how a NEW show won't be performing, but at least Allison will still be there promoting the show.

I am pretty certain they are not. They usually don't do public appearances. Could be wrong, but fairly sure.

BU is very reliable- they actually only post info they receive directly from the understudies themselves, from what I understand.

re: 9 TO 5: TV ALERTS

No, I meant how would THEY know if I told them Gaelen was on that I was a reliable source. They don't know who I am lol.

re: 9 TO 5: TV ALERTS

hmm- do you have an @gaelengilliland.com email address? *shrug* I'd think that would work. Or you could ask them-
contact@broadwayunderstudies.com
they probably have some sort of vetting process, as to who they take info from...

re: 9 TO 5: TV ALERTS

Yep. It's on Regis and Kelly's website as well.
I want to know who had the bright idea to book Allison Janney.
To promote 9 TO 5.
ON A BROADWAY WEEK
.... and then have Mary Poppins perform?
Really? Doesn't make any sense to me AT ALL.

re: 9 TO 5: TV ALERTS

I'll definitely be watching and looking forward to the shows!

re: 9 TO 5: TV ALERTS

Oprah should feature this show. It's all about women and work...perfect fit! Think how that would help the show!

re: 9 TO 5: TV ALERTS

It was brought to my attention that The View has this listed on their website:

Dolly Parton, Allison Janney, Stephanie J. Block and Megan Hilty (Broadway's 9 to 5 The Musical); Jay Mohr

The site I usually find out talk show info from still has 5/1 listed as "a performance from 9 TO 5". Maybe Dolly is there to talk while the girls are there to perform?

re: 9 TO 5: TV ALERTS

There most likely will be a performance on The View. At least I hope there will be. Not sure if Steph and Megan will join Allison and Dolly for the interview though, but that would be great too.

I really admire Allison and Dolly for doing promotion like this for the show. re: 9 TO 5: TV ALERTS

re: 9 TO 5: TV ALERTS

Just set my DVR for all appearances this week! Seeing the show for a third time tomorrow night...can't wait! I've had "Shine Like the Sun" in my head all weekend. I love this show so much.

Wow-i just realized how many shows ( and how many times of each) you see. unbelieveable. may i ask how you get the finances for this hobby? and what else do you have going on in your life? i mean, it's great to be a fan, but aren't you a little obsessive?
