That will make her very happy. I will pass the info along. If there is ever any question about whether or not she is going on I will post on either the fans Myspace page or her official website. I can start these posts when previews are done. Thanks for the nice words.

DefyingGravity, I assume it'll either be 9 TO 5 or Shine Like The Sun. I'm leaning towards 9 TO 5, but obviously that's just a guess.
Also, seems to be a broadway performances week on Regis and Kelly the week Allison is on:
Mon 4/27: Allison Janney
(no show listed here yet on site I used to look up these things. Perhaps we'll see a 9 TO 5 performance here too?)
Tue 4/28: a performance of "Billy Elliot"
Wed 4/29: a performance of "Rock Of Ages"
Thu 4/30: a performance of "West Side Story"
Fri 5/1: a performance of "Shrek the Musical"

EDIT - Um, nevermind. Mary Poppins will be performing that day. According to tvguide.com for their show on the 27th:
"On Broadway Week" begins with Allison Janney ("9 to 5") and a visit to "Mary Poppins."
Weird how a NEW show won't be performing, but at least Allison will still be there promoting the show.

thanks! and can anyone post info on that site? how do they know it's coming from a reliable source?
rykiramom, do you know if the swings will be in the cast performance on 5/1?
I am pretty certain they are not. They usually don't do public appearances. Could be wrong, but fairly sure.

BU is very reliable- they actually only post info they receive directly from the understudies themselves, from what I understand.

they probably have some sort of vetting process, as to who they take info from...

Yep. It's on Regis and Kelly's website as well.
I want to know who had the bright idea to book Allison Janney.
To promote 9 TO 5.
ON A BROADWAY WEEK
.... and then have Mary Poppins perform?
Really? Doesn't make any sense to me AT ALL.

DOLLY on the TODAY SHOW
Posted: 4/26/09 at 9:58pm
Dolly Parton, Allison Janney, Stephanie J. Block and Megan Hilty (Broadway's 9 to 5 The Musical); Jay Mohr
The site I usually find out talk show info from still has 5/1 listed as "a performance from 9 TO 5". Maybe Dolly is there to talk while the girls are there to perform?

I really admire Allison and Dolly for doing promotion like this for the show.
