Some questions

What is the opening curtain like and how long do you think the show will run on broadway

IDK about the curtain, but I predict this show will run for at least a year and a half. It's accessible and fun, got some recognizable names, has good chances at the Tonys, and you really get bang for your buck with the sets and special effects. Oh yeah, and it's actually GOOD. In any other economy, it would be a surefire hit.

9 TO 5 will be the hit of the season and as of now, I am going against the grain and predicting it will win Best Musical.

And I'm not sure about the curtain... there's a scrim that pulls up to reveal the opening setting but I don't know if there's a curtain or not prior to that.

If I remember correctly, the curtain at the Ahmanson was orange with a trim in gold or similar color. I really just remember bright and colorful. =)

WickedRocks, I agree with everything you said.

I wonder, if the show is successful and runs a (relatively) long time, how long would OBC members like Megan, Allison and SJB stay on?

And the credibility of your post goes down the drain so fast...

9 TO 5 will be the hit of the season

I've seen it (not live..wink wink)

It's going to run for quite some time.

I don't know if there's a curtain or not prior to that.

Maybe if you didn't get bootlegs and pay for a ticket, you'd know how the curtain looks like. Also, for the show to run a few performances, it needs patrons who PAY to see it - LIVE.

YES! And I know I have only seen the promo video's for this show and am so pumped for it... since it won't be there in March for my possible visit, I def. have to make a trip this summer! but yeah, there needs to be more money spent on shows so they can become hits!

What's with this animosity to people who watch a bootleg of a show? I have not met anyone who loved a show based on a bootleg and did not see/intend to see it live. The only downside is that people watch bootlegs of, say, Good Vibrations and don't go see it live because it is a piece of ****.

It's different than people illegally getting sheet music. If you have the sheet music for a show why are you going to go buy the vocal selections? You aren't. For the most part lol.

Haha, you're ridiculous. I have two pairs of tickets to see it (both at full price; 135 dollars PER TICKET) when it opens in NY. And with all the money I spend every year on tickets to shows (a number I'm afraid to figure out myself), this was the first full bootleg I've ever seen. I think I deserve that right. Relax. Seriously.

You have NO right, love. And if you feel so confident, why did you have to delete your bootlegging post?

Because I don't really have the energy to deal with more people yelling at me. And so now what am I being yelled at for? I told you I have over $250 worth of tickets waiting for me when it opens on Broadway which was what you criticized me for in the first place, not seeing it live. Sorry I can't hop on a plane and fly to LA to see it on a whim. You've never seen a bootleg? And don't call me love. I really don't feel like being patronized.

I'm not even looking back to see your response so you may as well not answer, LOVE.
