All of the principles from the most recent workshop were offered their roles in the full fledged production.
Of those seven, I know that Stephanie J. Block, Allison Janney and Megan Hilty have all signed on to continue with the show, and though I'm not sure about any of the others, I assume a majority of them will be back as well.
They are playing out of town in Los Angeles this fall, with the hopes of opening on Broadway in the spring of next year.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.

I'm really excited for this show, for some reason.
Can anyone tell me what Allison Janney's singing voice is like? I'm sorry, I just can't picture her singing.

Posted: 11/10/07 at 7:25pm^^^I've been trying to find that out since I first heard about the workshops (she sang a little once in TWW, I think, but I'd love to know more about her voice--especially as the original casting call had Violet as a coloratura!).

I ADORE her, as well--the thought of Block and Janney on the same stage kinda makes my head go splodey. 
Just--I would have pegged her for an alto or second soprano. Definitely not coloratura!
