If I say 'Yes' will you sell the tickets to me at face value?!??
Speaking from memory of winning the lottery for Drowsy, the front row did require a bit of looking up but I could see the back of the stage OK. Not sure if 9-5 uses a deeper stage, it would be a pity if you couldn't see the projection screens. I saw it last night from front row center of the mezz and the view was perfect.
The production was pretty darn good too and I thought Alison Janney was sublime.
Hopefully someone can give you a better answer re. your seats.

Posted: 4/14/09 at 6:24pmI was front row on the side last night and thought the view was pretty darn good, I could only imagine second row center to be better.

Posted: 4/14/09 at 6:39pmI hope they're good because I bought tix for this December and we're Orchestra B seats 105-106. Loing forward to seeing it!

Posted: 4/14/09 at 6:50pmThey should be fine. I remember sitting front row for Cry Baby and I couldn't have asked for a better view. Enjoy the show! :)

Posted: 4/14/09 at 7:11pmHow about second row all the way to the left. I'll be there May 9 with seats all the way to the left. Does anyone have any idea of how those would be?

Posted: 5/12/09 at 11:55amThe only really bad seats in that theater are once you get under the overhang of the mezz. There you lose the top 1/3 of the stage quickly the further you go back.

Posted: 5/12/09 at 12:00pmRow C on the sides is fine so long as you are in the first four seats off the aisle. Anything farther than that and you are risking some obstruction.

I sat in the front row for Drowsy and don't recall craning my neck at all. I thought they were fine seats, and I saw everything fine.

Posted: 5/12/09 at 4:59pmHas anyone sat in the First Row Mezz? I have tickets there and haven't sat in the first row of the Marquis Mezz (only the 4th for Drowsy) and I'm wondering if there is a bar or any other kind of obscuring of view, such as the balcony at the Palace, which was incredibly annoying.

I was in the first row on the mezz and it was a great view. The bar bothered me a tiny bit, but that's mostly because I'm short and have bad posture.
