99$ Today Tix Offer

I keep losing the today tix lottery for the Cursed Child, which is no shock, but recently I've gotten a couple offers to buy the 99$ tickets that they offer.

I hesitated too long this week, but next week I think I might do it, as I'd like to go while they are still doing collections.

My question is - has anyone done this? Where have the seats ended up? It kind of annoys me that you can't see them beforehand. I understand with the actual lottery, but 99$ per part isn't really that much of a discount when, for some dates, you can get 95$ per part and know your seat.

Also, it says that a pair might not be seated together. Has this actually happened?? I was hoping to go with a friend who has never seen it before. So I feel like I'd hate to be separated.



Unfortunately the date that I'm after only has really expensive tickets, so the 99$ ones might be worth it if offered, but still want to know what everyone's experience has been.

Not sure if this is meant to be snarky or not but if it's an honest question, I believe it's actually standard for the dollar sign to be placed before the number. In French it's after, and I just simply wasn't thinking to do the standard when I posted. My apologies!

Thank you for the reply :) I did see/check out that post, but this was such a niche question I felt it would be easier to see on a thread of its own. When I searched, I mostly just found people who had won the lottery.

Was it front orchestra or rear? Would you overall say your view was good?

Orch letteringgoes from A - Z (maybe there's an AA before the A?) so yes B and Cin the front. Honestly I thought it was a smidge too close to the stage, I would have liked to have been a row or two back, you miss some small stuff,

but at the same time it was pretty cool to be *thatclose* to the magic, so to speak.

But if you're not prepared to maybe not sit together, and to have no say over where you're even sitting, I wouldn't do the TodayTix offer."

I would love those seats for myself, as I love this current cast. I've sat in both dress circle and orchestra (I think my closest seat was row C), and I think both are good in their own right. But for the first time, I feel as thought dress circle is better, because you really get to see the magic in the way it was meant to be seen. So this definitely has given me a lot to think about, knowing that there's a possibility to get seats so close. I'll have to lurk the other thread more and see what others have gotten as well.

Because as I said in my original post, I want to see the show while it's doing collections, which I believe end the last week of November. For those dates, the 95$ ticket range is sold out. So ultimately the purpose of this board was to gauge whether it was worth it to do the 99$ deal and see the show during this preferred week, or buy tickets in the future for 95$. There were pros and cons to each :)

Are you local? If so, try going to the box office in person. Sometimes they have tickets that aren't available online. I recently got tickets for $95/part for a performance that only had $170/part+ online.

I went to the box office earlier this evening to purchase tickets for Nov 29-30. I asked for the best seats available at the $95/part price range (that was the lowest price available online). I was surprised when the guy at the box office said they have $40/part tickets available for balcony seats (I didn't take them as I thought the $95 orchestra seats were a better deal). Not sure why that price point was not showing up online, but they have it at the box office. Also asked for the first week of December for friends visiting, they had them for weekdays but not weekends, and I was able to purchase four tickets for Dec 5 for $40/part. Seats were not all together but was split into two an two. So OP, if you're willing to seat in the balcony, they have the $40 tix for the last week of November (at least Nov 29-30 for sure).

Edited to add: OP, there are Orchestra seats still available at the $95 price range for Nov 29-30.
