Does anyone forsee future life in NYC for this?

Considering that it inexplicably struggled to find an audience, I would not.
Stranger things have happened, so I never say never. But yeah, the show didn’t actually sell that well, despite the strong word of mouth and reviews. So it doesn’t seem like it’s screaming for a return engagement.
Maybe if it wins the Pulitzer next year (wouldn’t be my pick, but seems viable) someone will bring it back. But until then, it doesn’t seem like there’s much reason to do it without anticipating an increase in hard demand.

I don't know this has major life in NYC but I can easily see a lot of regional houses and even colleges producing this in studio theatre spaces. This will be very popular for monologues too.

Saw it last Saturday. It’s a WOW!
That said, it is a little show. 2 characters who sit in a cubicle for 95% of the show…with subtle light changes. It’s in a great space now.
Never say never, but that doesn’t have blockbuster written all over.
