Hey all,
I saw A Catered Affair on Monday night (from the balcony) but the nice box office lady told me that they will be having a $26.50 student rush probably starting late this week or def. next week. I think it's whatever is left day of.

i went today and they werent offering rush. i thought the balcony seats were ok. i was only annoyed by the school group there and talking the entire time around me.
i'll definitely see it again if they do offer better seats.

Because almost every time I post anything you reply "Fantasia" MOCKING me for being a fan! People have opinions Foster! I know that you think yours is the only one that matters, but it's not. And how did I defend her in my last post? I wasn't even talking about her. I was talking about YOU.
I'm just sick and tired of you mocking me all the time when I never said two words to you in my life. You don't know me at all. Have no idea who I am and know absolutley nothing about me. Why do you get off on mocking people you don't know?? Obviously there's a reason for it.

When someone finds out when they will officially start offering rush seats, can you post it on here?
Thanks!

According to Playbill:
A Catered Affair
Student Tickets: $26.50- available at the box office and may be purchased in advance with valid student ID. Subject to availability and discretion of management. Limit 2 per valid ID.
Standing Room: $25 - available at the box office only on the day of the performance. Only available when the performance is sold out.
Tickets in the Balcony are priced regularly at $29.50 for weekday performances and $39.50 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Hopefully it will be in place for tomorrow. My friend and I will be trying for tickets so we'll see!

Old thread I know, but I stopped by the box office at around 6 to see if there was any chance they had rush seats left. Not only did they have them, but they were front row, dead center. I asked the guy if this was normal for student rush; he said no, I just lucked out. I was in seat 105, and the 4 seats next to me were empty.
(for the record, I really liked the show -- after the first 40 minute or so which were kind of boring, but what dazzling performances!)

I got one 45 minutes before last Tuesday and was front row of the mezz, 3 seats off the aisle. It's a small house, so great seats.
Only problem was the 85 year old man next to me who had the hearing aid things blasting and was pulling out his tin of Altoids so he could crunch on them every five minutes. Of course I can't complain to an 85 year old man in the middle of a production (not that he would ahve heard a whisper anyway, would have had to yell at him). Ugh!

Posted: 5/23/08 at 4:19pmwickedrocks--I can't say for sure; I ran in a couple of minutes before the show started. The orchestra seemed pretty full, maybe a row or 2 in the back empty, but I didn't even turn around to see the rest of the theater.
