Or...not. There's only one standing room space where you're actually next to Zach, and only a few where you can really watch him act. When I did SRO I was at the opposite end of the center section from Zach, and so couldn't see much more than his knees jutting out past the other SRO-goers. Still a fabulous spot though, and still cool to have him nearby. But being "next to" him is not really an SRO selling point.

I have done SRO. If you are first on line you will get a spot next to Zach's station.
Actually, it is one down from Zach's seat. The first spot there is reserved for Larry.

Posted: 2/14/07 at 4:04pmdoes Larry ever actually sit in that seat, or is it just "reserved" for him?

Not paid yet. Am waiting for payday on Friday?
Who's the Zach you're all talking about?

LMAO.
Zach is the casting director, a character in the show who sits out in the audience, as a real director does, and speaks through a microphone.

He actually sits behind the audience, right behind the last row,at least when I saw it...he has a little desk/podium thingy back there with a microphone...I have seen productions where he sits right in the audience, as if it's an empty theater and we are not there.
Larry does sit next to Zach for quite a while. I noticed this because I have a little crush on Tyler Hanes..

If I did Standing Room, I would love to stand next to Tyler Hanes!
Has anyone who has stood there ever looked over at them too many times? It must be hard not to stare on occasion...right?

SweetOscar: My seat was toward the back, on the isle, and I kept looking over/back at them. I couldn't see Zack very well, but definitely could see Tyler very clearly. I found it interesting that they had a jacket waiting for him that he put on back there....it was a cold night...and yes, I stared a LOT. At one point I could swear that Tyler was staring right back at me for a while...so of course I waited by the stage door , but he was in a HUGE hurry and I didn't even catch his eye...I did sort of follow him to the subway, but lost him...oh dear, does that make me a stalker!??!? :)
