Posted: 10/28/07 at 7:10pmSaw it again last week. Had hoped to take a friend today, didn't make it. Wanted him to see and hear Jessica Lea Patty. Lovin her in ACL but also looking forward to more, more, more. She should be on more than once a week. Adds alot. Bet she would be great in Les Mis or, Cool!...Wicked!

Posted: 10/28/07 at 7:52pmLove the show, but it does matter what day you see it. Some are alot more talented than others. But if you don't like the show itself, I guess that doesn't matter. I love it and especially JLP.

Posted: 10/28/07 at 8:26pmI've heard the choreo./dancing is phenomenal (which is a given) because it's done in the original style and Baayork taught it. But, i've heard that the vocals are less than stellar.

Posted: 10/28/07 at 9:54pmThe choreography is well suited for the show. You're right, most of the vocals are just ok. But Jessica Lea Patty has a truely special quality. I've heard her as Diana. Her rendition of "What I Did for Love" is really moving. I was amazed when I heard her sing "At the Ballet", as Maggie and she is stunning to watch and hear as Cassie. Vocally, no one in the show can touch her. Wish I had half the talent. That's why I think Elphaba would be a great role for her.

The vocals are absolutely amazing in this show.
And from a singing (my cousin) she did a workshop on it and it was VERY difficult

Posted: 10/29/07 at 10:19amI saw JLP perform Judy went she first joined the show and she was flawless. After the rest of the originals leave in January, they should give her Diana or Judy(or even Cassie).
