I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but can someone go to the box office, if they're seeing the show, and ask about updated SRO policies, if any? They seem to be changing their minds the same way we change our underwear (spare me the jokes).
The same goes for Bob Dylan (the title's just too damn long to type)....if anyone's going, can they ask about rush?
Thanks in advance.
I heard (not sure if its still true) that they have like 5 or 10 SRO spots.
i'm seeing ACL this weekend, Yank. i can ask for ya

For those of you who are going--grab extra playbills! I'd like to buy one or two :)
I asked on Sunday, they said they didn't know about SRO and would not know until it opened.

~~Did you read the whole thing????~~
"They sold standing room for today's matinee, but not for the evening show. The guy at the box office said there will likely be a set SRO policy after the show opens."
"I got SRO on Friday.
They only sell it when they deem that the show is "completely sold out", apparently.
They also only sell 6, and it does have to do with not having SRO audience members near "Zach" (the amazing Michael Berresse).
It was one of the top 5 theatregoing experiences of my young adult life. Thank you, gods of the theatre!"
So at this point it's just hit or miss?
I usher at the Schoenfeld and the SRO policy is 6 to the far left. The have no plans to sell the center standing room. Zach's chair is on the far side of the center SR and both he and Larry move around back there. They also moved the sound board to the rear, which they may not want SR in front of that. Right now the production team stands in the center. No Rush till maybe FEB. The house has been entirely full the last 8 performances.

Updated info... I spoke with our House Manager today at the matinee.
For previews, 6 SRO will be sold on the far left $26.25 cash. SR will be sold 2 hours prior to the performance and the BO was telling people to come back at 5pm for tonight.
Once the show opens, they plan to add about 6 more SRO in the center,
He also said that with the next batch of tickets they release, the house will be reconfigured so that all seats including last row of mezz will be $111.25. Side partial view orch seats will be $87. Also 20 of the partial view will be for lottery. That may not be until April since the BO is selling till March.
$111 for every seat in the house? Excluding the $87 partial view seats? Does no one else think this is more than a little ridiculous?
(I know people do, and that there are threads devoted to it - but every time I think about it, sheesh)
The last row of the mezz should really be $36.25 or something like that...how do they expect that everyone can afford these ridiculous prices?
The thing is that the Schoenfeld is a small theater and the last row mezz are quite good seats.
ITs the $ ... there even selling out the premium tickets at $251
True, the Schoenfeld is small and all the seats are good, but I can't imagine paying $111.25 for the last row mezz...
I paid $86.25 for Row G of the mezz and had an excellent view and LOVED the show. It'll be interesting to see who shells out the $111.25 for the rear mezz. I, for one, will be getting standing room tickets every time I see the show from now on (which will probably be many many times).
I can't wait for all of the fans of the show to see it, and be done with it. So the producers can realize they ruined the show with the prices.
I'm sure not paying over one hundred dollars to see basically a replacement cast in the same show that played 30 years ago with similar lighting, sets, and exact costumes.
The seats might be fine in the rear mezz, but who in their right mind would spend the exact same amount on rear mezz that they could spend on front orchestra? If I'm paying top dollar, I want great seats, not last row mezz for the same price. This ticket pricing is not only ridiculous, it is pure greed. Geez, I remember the days when rear orchestra was cheaper than front orchestra, and balcony seats were cheap cheap cheap.
