Wait, is Charlotte married to Terrance Mann, from Cats, Les Miz, and the ACL 80's film?
No, that other Terrance Mann, who works at Target.

Looks like I'm in the minority here, but I wasn't impressed with the Macy's performance, which makes me sad because I love ACL. I haven't seen the revival yet, but I will be soon. I'm sure I'll love it though. I'm sure it's better when they're in an environment they're used to (like their theatre) and it's not cold and rainy.
Jeez, you people are nasty. Jacques D'Amboise is ill with lung cancer and you want to burn Charlotte at the stake for spending the day with him and her family. Have some decency. My thoughts and prayers are with Charlotte and her family at this time.
Thank you to all who are supporting Charlotte. My prayers are with the d'Amboise family.
*LOL* Neddy, I feel ya- I was like "Uuuhhh- that's not Charlotte!"
She and Terrence have been married 17 years
They've known each other a lot longer, though. Check out the video they posted for her
Well, I hope that Charlotte's dad is alright.
I am also curious why Yuka wasn't at the parade?!?! Michael Beresse looks a lot different on TV. (not like its a bad thing but he dosn't look the same as when I saw him at the theatre.)

During the Spamalot and Rockette number I was waiting for the girls to just fall on their ass! That road was soo wet!
I'm not bashing her,
but she was ok to take off ACL to do the CHICAGO anniversary.
Look most performers have families (I know a few exceptions) and problems. But I get PO'd at performers who "pick" what events they want to do and don't do others.
The show is your job and if you are not very ill, You show up, that's how I feel!
I feel bad for Mr. D'Amboise.
I am kind of glad that it wasn't Charlotte, because when I was watching I was thinking "WOW! Charlotte looks really different from how she did two weeks ago, and not in a good way"
What was that supposed to mean?
People, it's Thanksgiving. According to others, her father is sick. There will be other performances. Let her be with her family.

Your signature...it's in different colors.
It's probably common knowledge on how to do that. I just don't know it.
The fewer people who know, the better.
How could you tell Patrick Page wasn't in the parade? I mean, you can't really tell WHO it is under all that makeup...
And BOO that Johnny didn't sing! I was so looking forward to that...
haha yeah, i guess my signature is pretty offensive... I was young and stupid, and didnt know what i was doing...
fishes,

Heaven forfend!
Anyway, I was mistaken. The parade clip is avaiable at Charlottesworkethic.com, but the site is only up for four hours a week.
Namo, get a family and do a Broadway show.
Get back to me when you do that.

Nah, I'm just gonna stay the webmaster of contractsaremeaningless.org.
Here's the deal:
We who work in the Theatre know that our lives and schedules are different then most working people.
We work on weekends and a lot of Holidays also.
The "he or she has kids and a family" just does not cut it.
If you choose A Life in the Theatre than you make sacrifices if you don't, work in a different venue.
Jeez, what do you think the song WHAT I DID FOR LOVE IS ABOUT?
(the sweetness AND the sorrow)
Illness is one thing but not doing promos to support the show that is yer livlihood sucks in my book.
You find the time for your loveones when you are off and make that your special time for them.

Very good point CPD, maybe I'm just trying to think more of Charlotte.
I mean she was in all three times I saw it.
Well said CPD.
It's not like she's being forced to do the show. I understad illness and such, it happens. But she has a job. She is one of the lucky few in her field who do.
"We who work in the Theatre know that our lives and schedules are different then most working people.
We work on weekends and a lot of Holidays also."
We who work in the Theatre also get personal and sick days. And though we like to consider ourselves more interesting and open-minded than those who don't work in the Theatre, sadly we're not superhuman and have things in life that come up. Maybe she's injured, maybe she's with her Dad and family, or maybe it has been her understudies life long dream to perform with a Bway show on the Macy's Day Parade. None of our business.
PS...wasn't John Cullum (a much more well-known performer than Charlotte) out of his little televised skit as well this morning?
Seriously, people, is the best argument we can bother with today is why Charlotte didn't show up today?
Did it ever occur to anyone that maybe IT DOESN'T MAKE A GODDAMN DIFFERENCE if she showed up today?
I love Charlotte to bits, but there a ****load of people out there who don't know or care who she is, and it certainly isn't the first time in the history of the parade that understudies went on when the number is an ensemble number.
I, for one, am just happy that the show really represented itself well, probably the best of the lot today, and it got a prime slot on the show.
Never said we were more interesting than anyonw else.
But these promos are to show off the show they are in and keep them running and I know Charlotte is not known that well outside NYC and neither is John Cullum, but if most people from your show come in early and do the promo you should too.
I can't imagine it bodes well with the cast members who do show up.
And I have other things to do but this is the place for this discussion, especially if young performers are reading and want to know how difficult the business is and how much work it is and not standing outside THE WEDDING SINGER stage door saying "oooh you looked at me in the third scene"

popular_elphie- It means that I was going to say that Charlotte got some really bad plastic surgery, because she looks nothing like she did two weeks ago. Then I realized it wasn't Charlotte.
