A Chorus Line is my new favorite rush. I held down the fort with my friend at Spring Awakening for 2 hours and then went over to ACL 5 minutes before the box office opened and was 4th in line. Talk about convenient.
That said, it sucks that people aren't as eager to see A Chorus Line. I was shocked when I read on here that people were getting rush tickets at 7:50 on a Saturday night, when Spring Awakening is selling out of student rush tickets by noon on weekdays.

I can't remember how high the back wall of the orchestra section is at the Schoenfeld, but I don't think it's as bad as other theaters (Lunt-Fontanne, New Amsterdam).
It's not high at all. I'm 5'1" and I can stand back there comfortably.
The rush seats are fine, too. It's mostly side orchestra, but it depends on what they have left. The best I've gotten is fourth row dead center.

DRS: Did your friend buy a single ticket? Perhaps sometimes in certain instances single rush tickets are left.
I got rush for ACL around 12:30 on a Sunday and got orchestra Row G, the extreme left. Not bad.

I agree with DaneSaw, it's a shame that people aren't as eager to see ACL. I had stood in line for 3 hours for SA rush tickets, and it didn't live up to the hype..Sorry. I arrived at Schoenfeld Box Office at 10 today (1/11) and there were 4 people lined up. They give out fantastic seats for rush at 35 bucks a pop. I got ROW M SEAT 18 and 20, which is in the middle right orchestra.
I had a such a good time!! They all knocked my freakin socks off
If you're considering ACL Rush..don't. Just do it yo

Posted: 1/12/08 at 1:41amI got my SRO tickets for ACL about 20 minutes before the show started, and the view is great! I just got really sick of standing, but hey, I did it because it's my favorite show.

They have a rush!! I did it last week. The seats are $35.00 and only partial view, but the view is still good!
Also, SA rush does sell out. Two weeks ago I went over an hour before the show and the guy in the box office said they go right away.

It's not my favorite, but I don't mind it. The original production was my first show ever.
I was gonna try and get them for my parents for next Sunday night since my sister wants to try and see RENT that night.
