I was there tonight (Wed) There were many people standing! The place was packed!
So what's the Standing Room policy now?? How many are there?? What time are they sold? and what time must you get there?
Considering the was at 80% capacity last week I doubt there will be SRO for most performances, maybe only weekend performances if they are sold out.

It was sold out last night (Tues Oct. 10) and all the SRO spots were filled.

The SRO policy (SRO = Standing Room Only) has now been set. There are 12 spots per show, sold 2 per person when the box office opens. I did it for a Saturday matinee last weekend, was 50th in line, and got the last spot. Usual price, $26.25. The evening show is sold along with the matinee and tickets for that went like hotcakes.
if you were 50th in line and there were 24 SRO tickets(12 for matinee/12 for evening), how did you get a ticket??

As luck would have had it, the bulk of the people in line were looking for general tickets, not SRO. I don't recommend being 50th in line. The first person in line got there at 5 minutes to 8.
Thanks!! I'm seeing it tomorrow night(Thurs.) and according to telecharge.com it's sold-out. I'll try and pass by at 5pm to see how long the line is for SRO.
But they sell SRO whether the show is sold out or not, correct?? They just don't let you sit in the empty seats.
And it's sold out tomorrow anyway according to telecharge, so what time should I get to the box office tomorrow morning to assure a ticket??

More or less, yeah.
There were 3 rows of empty seats last Saturday, they held the curtain, assuming that it was a group which hadn't arrived. They never came....and wouldn't let us sit. Their reasoning?
"They use that aisle a lot during the show." By a lot, they meant the 3 times that Zach goes back and forth.
Even so, it wasn't a bad thing to stand through.
That sucks about not letting you sit in empty seats. I did SRO for The Odd Couple and the usher told us we could have any empty seats at intermission. As our luck would have it, the only two empty seats I could see were in the last row of the orchestra in front of the SRO. We had seats for the entire 2nd half.
Well that's because at Odd Couple those seats were probably paid for by a broker and never sold. At Chorus Line there just unsold seats, so if you want a seat you should have to pay for it. But at least there selling SR for every performance and not just those that are sold out.
