I searched and nothing came up. I heard there was a standing room policy for A Chorus Line, is that true? What time do they go on sale/what time should I get there to ensure tickets? And, sorry for so many questions, all the shows are having regular performances tomorrow right? None of them are cancelled/changed because of the flea market? Thanks =)
There's been tons on this. I'm too lazy to search myself though.
I just searched again, and this thread is the only thing that comes up now. I searched "chorus line SRO" "chorus line standing room" "A chorus line sro" "A chorus line standing room" what else do you suggest??
Rush is the magic word.

It will address any future SRO/Rush question you'll ever have.
That's actually where I read that the show HAD standing room.
I went to the theater today to see if they had SRO, the people in the Box Office said they wouldn't know til later. So I came back and they said don't count on it. I don't know if this was just for Previews or today, but they didn't have SRO when I went today.

Any word on SRO yet?
I read at one point that they would not be doing SRO because the character of Zach uses that space during the show. That of course may change though.
They sold standing room for today's matinee, but not for the evening show. The guy at the box office said there will likely be a set SRO policy after the show opens.
I got SRO on Friday.
They only sell it when they deem that the show is "completely sold out", apparently.
They also only sell 6, and it does have to do with not having SRO audience members near "Zach" (the amazing Michael Berresse).
It was one of the top 5 theatregoing experiences of my young adult life. Thank you, gods of the theatre!

I was there on Friday too. You might have been the person standing beside me.
Eee, was I? I didn't know!!! Too bad bwayworld didn't come up
So what time should I get there if I wanted SRO tickets?

LOL! I think you were the person in front of me. I was the third person in line.
They told us six, but actually, they didn't start selling them until about 7:45. We waited a while, and they kept saying they weren't even sure that they WOULD be selling them at all. So good luck with that.
Only 6 SR tickets. Last at the FOH meeting, we were told this would be the policy for now. The center will not be sold because of Zach's chair and the sound board in the back. The time the SR tickets are sold seemed to vary on the day last week, seemed to be around 15 minutes till the hour.

The box office told me yesterday that it's still 6 SRO tickets for the time being, "but subject to change at any time" and they said they are still changing the policy daily. Sunday they were gone by 12:30 when the BO was open at noon. They said the times kept changing bc the producers, etc tell them daily if they can do SRO for that perf. and how and when and where they can allocate the SRO. Seems that we're all being told different things and hopefully something will become definite soon.

Give them a chance, NJgirl. It's still in previews. Creative team is still using those spaces to view the show from. They'll get it together after opening I'm sure.

I more or less meant that the misinformation and people being told different things is what they need to figure out as everyone who's asked has been told something completely different.
How come the producers of The Odd Couple knew about the SRO policy for the first week of previews? I stood for The Odd Couple its first weekend...the producers of A Chorus Line really need to get their information straight.
For previews, 6 SRO will be sold on the far left $26.25 cash. SR will be sold 2 hours prior to the performance and the BO was telling people to come back at 5pm for tonight.
Once the show opens, they plan to add about 6 more SRO in the center,

Wow, they should just change the title to "Take the Money and Run."

Stop griping. They do offer something, and they don't have to. So if you want to see it, just plan a day when you can and take a book or something. It's doable. I got a SRO ticket last Friday night. And it was so well worth it. I spent 26.25 and had a great view. That's awesome.
