I need to decide when I want to see A Chorus Line and Company.

Which show would be the better one to see on a Monday evening? And which would be the better show to see on a Wednesday matinee?

I... don't think it matters? Not that I think he's gonna slack off with this one, but if you're really concerned that someone might be out, my primary concern would be Esparza, and I'd tell you to see Company at night -- he's more likely to skip out on a two-show day, if he's going to at all, and that show will not be as good without him.

Aren't most shows dark on Monday? Like the only ones that I know of that aren't are RENT and Phantom, so you might want to check that they even have shows on Monday before you plan a trip around them.

COMPANY may have shows on Monday nights during previews. I didn't think A CHORUS LINE did.

Company's schedule is a little strange, and it changes shortly after the show opens, but yes, they have Monday shows for a while. If ACL doesn't, then I guess that makes the decision for you. :)

I think she's definitely seeing both, but asking which to see when.

ACL's schedule starting Oct. 16 will be Monday-Saturday at 8pm, Wed. & Sat. at 2pm. They're dark on Sundays.

Starting in January, it'll be dark on Mondays & play Sundays at 3pm.

Company is playing on Mondays for previews only.

I'm going to show w/c 13 November, therefore during previews of Company.

I just wondered whether you felt one of them was more of an evening show.

Company - is row L orchestra (on left aisle) or row B centre mezz better?

A Chorus Line - I've always been told that you should watch shows with choreography from above (like at the ballet). Is this true?

Absolutely row B center mezzanine for Company. That's most likely the ideal place from which to see the show.

John Doyle has said himself that most of his shows are best seen from the front mezzanine.

And Doyle's the man. :)

Because of the structure of the set and the way it'll orient the staging.
