A Chorus Line review 9/23

I saw the show this past weekend and it was great! Everything about it was amazing, not to mention the audience was really into the show.

Some the best moments for me were the presenting of the headshots after I Hope I Get It, Music and the Mirror and the One Reprise.

One of the standouts of the cast for me was Mara Davi. What a voice she has!

Another stand out was Deidre Goodwin I couldn't keep my eyes off of her during the show and she had great comedic timing.

Charlotte d'Amboise was also really good I think people are being too harsh on her here. Music and the Mirror was the big showstopper of the night and she danced the hell out of it.

Everyone else was great, I just hope they will offer SRO someday so I can see it again

Yes they have SRO on random days that the producers decide to sell it. And they won't decide until a little before curtain, it's not sold when the BO opens. At least that's what the woman at the BO told me 4 hours ago.

There's room for only one baby harp seal on this board.

I don't know if it's still this way, but years ago, it was standard not to sell standing room unless and until the rest of the house was sold.

I've heard it's 10 spots for SRO.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Sunday they sold 6 seats as soon as the box office opened. That is as of this past Sunday.

I talked to Mara Davi yesterday for a minute and she said they only had 6 SRO tickets available per show.

"There's room for only one baby harp seal on this board."

That is exactly what I told her Smaxie!

Ditto the six seats for SRO.

The B.O. lady also told me that they were planning on a lottery, but not until way after opening. But since the show's selling so well, I wouldn't be surprised if this never ends up happening.

New to BWW and wanted to give the info on SRO, I am also anusher, along with BroadwayMatt, at the Schoenfeld theater.

Only 6 SRO far left side and will only continue to be 6 as the setup with Zack's chair doesn't allow for center SR.

The show was an entire sell out for last week. I know tickets at full price were selling at the the BO for the days performance, usally upstairs mezz. I've heard chat about the daily sales, and all I should say is the producers are very happy. Premium seats are selling at every performance, so the students will probably have to wait till Feb.

re: A Chorus Line review 9/23

Yeah I blame my self 100% When I saw I had it worng I ran up to the theater and the women who was running the rush was trying to help me in away she could.

But I learned a lesson that day. Anyway I plan on doing it again Nov 4 and this time I know to check the ticket.
