and another...but was Gregory Gardner a stripper???? LOL!
Examiner review
this mostly young cast has a crucial quality that seemed to me mostly missing when I saw the original New York cast of Bob Avian?s 2006 Broadway revival on which this tour was based:
Something to prove.
I saw the tour in Seattle, and thought it was better than the Broadway show too, but couldn't put my finger why, and that is exactly why.
YES! This critic totally nailed that point I thought.
Yes, where did she get that Greg ever stripped? When he was growing up in Buffalo? Or after he came to New York?
None of the dancers talk about stripping, do they?

Well, Don Kerr sings in his solo, that he "really became friendly with
this stripper" ( Lola Latours)..I guess that's where that came from...
But even Don wasn't a stripper. Gregory Gardner is possibly the least male-stripper-like of all the guys.
Maybe the woman who wrote that review had the hots for Alex Ringler.

PJ-
Bobby grew up in Buffalo, Gregory is "very East Side, and I do not deny it"
I saw the tour in Denver and it was much better this time around than when it came through with Alan Thicke. Although Alan Thicke was better than Tom Wopat, in my opinion.

When did either Allen Thicke OR Tom Wopat play Zach?
uncageg, this is about A Chorus Line which is currently playing Chicago, not the show Chicago (which featured Alan Thicke and Tom Wopat at one time).
Oops. Right. I confused Bobby and Gregory.
And how did this thread morph from Chicago-the-city Chicago to Chicago-the-show?
PJ, because someone misinterpreted the thread!
