Marc Kudisch would be hilarious and awesome in this.

Kudisch was great. Hope there's more of him in Season 2. Also, great to see a full, well directed, choreographed, danced and acted number on the show. NBC is getting the hang of it now.
Beau Bridges to Replace John Larroquette in HOW TO SUCCEED

Boring!!!

Shoulda cast Marc Kudisch! He would kill in this role.....maybe the producers will wise up and hire him in July....

Natascia Diaz Front Page... Why?
 Aug 9 2011, 11:13:52 AM
I think it's interesting that everyone assumes that they only looked at Charlotte and Natascia because they were the only ones "who could do it". Not true by any means....I'd love to talk about the lack of a casting process that allowed the actresses that COULD do it a chance. As you have all mentioned...Shannon Lewis, Nadine Isenegger, Meg Gillentine---and Amy Spanger, Deborah Yates, Nancy Lamenager were all amazing in early auditions.....but it became clear that the producers and casting dir

Actor injured in Spiderman tonight

Dear AEA AGMA SM

My point exactly.

When you are young and eager you will do anything. Until you see what can happen when safety isn't a priority. Until you experience an injury or see one happen- you will always trust that you are in good hands....until you aren't.

I am glad there are actors in this biz who will turn down jobs for personal reasons...good for them!
But the majority don't have that option. And even more, most actors who find themselves in an u

Actor injured in Spiderman tonight

"actors knew it was a dangerous job going in"...

Pu-leeeeeaaSE! Actors want JOBS. And they assume that the union won't allow them to do anything that isn't safe. The fact is the union has no idea what is going on...they only hear after an injury happens.
And yes, many directors and producers think that actors are replaceable...if you break one you just hire another.
grow up...this show and it's "safety" is appalling.

Any word on SYCAMORE TREES at the Signature?
 May 28 2010, 12:26:16 PM
actually I've heard some really good buzz. They have been making trims and cuts during the preview period. There were some great reports on the "other" board. A close friend is involved in the DC theatre scene and said that word is it's a very moving story and people are really loving Yazbeck and Kudisch especially. Opens this weekend I think.
The Best Understudy You Have Seen

Shannon Lewis as the Wife in Contact. The woman next to me said at intermission "that was the best standby EVER!" I agreed. Amazing.

re: 9 to 5 closing date?

Actually ......
The cast is signed for a year from the first public performance in NYC. The LA run of the show was on a completely separate contract.
The principals are signed for 1 year from the first public perf on Broadway.

they probably haven't opened up the next block of tickets yet....
re: 9 to 5 closing date?

The Principal cast is signed for a year--starting from when 9 to 5 started their Bway rehearsals.....which was sometime in Feb 09.....Alison Janney has stated in many interviews that she is with the show for at least a year. The January date that you read really makes no sense...Maybe it was a misprint.

re: 'A Chorus Line' at Ogunquit Playhouse
 Jun 2 2009, 02:47:17 PM
oh pleeeeeaase! This production was better than the Current National tour? The tour is amazing! I saw it twice in the last 6 months and it has an amazing cast and has been getting wonderful reviews. I just watched the video of the Ogunquit playhouse and it looks like just another regional production. Lorenzo Lamas looks RIDICULOUS in this and with his long hair and moustache he is a "doug henning" look alike. I am sure there are some nice performances by Nadine Isenegger and others but it l

re: 9 to 5 frozen yet, or still changing things?

They will be recording the album on the Monday after the opening. This is traditional for most new musicals as they are usually changing things right up until opening night.
