If you are going to an opening party...make sure you talk to the other co-stars, so you don't wind up looking almost like you are wearing the same dress, same color, etc!

What ever happened to the glamour!? Thank god for the male stars that wore other colors besides black!

re: A Message to the Ladies of EXIT THE KING

Ambrose, Martin, and Sarandon all wore black. How dare they.

Hutchison was actually the only one who didn't. Shame on him for not "fitting in" with the cool kids.

I thought this thread would be about the brilliant, hysterical performances all of them are giving (particularly Ambrose and Martin). Sarandon is pure class on stage. Ambrose is beauty and talent personified. Andrea Martin is comedy personified.
That's my message to the ladies of EXIT THE KING, and not to be mean, but I think that's a lot more relevant and less shallow than to criticize them for wearing the same color. Not only that but all three look astonishing and happy to be in one of the best productions on Broadway at the moment.

It's an opening. Black is, uh, not uncommon. Two of the three men are also in black. The style of each dress is nothing like the others. My message to Sarandon would be to take some more chances, but congrats on the final monologue. Congrats to them all. A rare, wonderful evening.

People, please don't get your panties in a bunch. It was a humorous comment and nothing more. Let's not take ourselves too seriously. This is, after all, a message board about plays and musicals.

Have some fun...

Indeed, Play Esq. gets it. I mean, yes, of course if I were one of the actresses I would probably ask them what color are they wearing for the opening, but then again, Im joking, it's not really something that is important at all. And I'd love to comment on the play, but it'd be ignorant of me to do so, since I haven't had the chance to see this play =(
