Why on earth did they not add an extra 7 seats to the American Airlines Theatre!?
Because.... Then it would have 747 seats!
Get it? Like a 747 airplane? And it's the American Airlines Theatre?
They seriously missed a great opportunity there.

Posted: 1/6/14 at 11:27amIn your excitement to share this with us, you forgot to check one kind of important thing related to your suggestion. Does American Airlines fly 747's. They don't... and haven't in a number of years.

Posted: 1/6/14 at 11:38amAll theaters should have 69 seats in the back row.

Posted: 1/6/14 at 4:46pmI always thought that it was interesting that Ragtime did a hatchet job song on Henry Ford while performing in the Ford Center For The Performing Arts.

@Gotham Wasn't the Henry Ford song a condition of using the theatre? I thought I had heard that the song has been cut from all subsequent productions...

I've never heard that it was cut from subsequent productions. I remember it in the first national tour and it was used in the revival.
Ford paid some money for the naming rights. They didn't own the theatre and no say in the running of it anymore than American Airlines does for the theatre that they paid to put their name on.
